Skoda and Volkswagen station wagons fail the test
The fourth generation Skoda Octavia has been on sale since November 2019. The first quarter of this year, 2020, made it possible to sell 51 thousand cars. And this is only data on the European Union, in which the car costs 27 thousand euros. The vehicle recently passed an active safety test, which revealed several serious problems.

At the same time, such well-known cars as Ford Mondeo, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Toyota Hilux did not pass the test.
This time, the experts were upset by the Octavia Combi model, which could not fit into the turn at a speed of 70 km / h. At the same time, the plastic movement limiters in the car were significantly squinted. In general, Octavia showed not the worst result of the "elk" test and is unlikely to be significantly improved by the manufacturer. Of course, an important factor in skid resistance is the use of specialized rubber, but not all car owners equip their car with it.
